National Children Prayer Conference 08

This year's theme "Power Up" could not have been more timely as the children of this generation has evolved into children of prayer. Being the 4th year a number of the children  from the past conferences come together once again  to be 'little gospel hands and feet' . This is in line with the theme- Romans 10:13-15, "for,"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written," How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!""

NCPN Power Up 2008 - National Children Prayer Conference 2008, Malaysia

900 children (2-13yrs) from different walks of life; believers and non believers; Malaysians, Singaporeans and even Myanmarese gathered at The Heritage, PJEFC. Representing 105 churches, they came to pray for their friends, family and to learn to share the good news . Facilitated by the National Children Prayer Network Malaysia, NECF Malaysia, dedicated and hardworking Pastors, Children Ministry Teachers, voluntary helpers, mothers and fathers from as far as Singapore –  ………We had so many adults who came and pray on site covering the whole 2 days conference with prayer .and worship.  It was a joy to serve the children and to see them having fun in a prayer conference!

A little girl who volunteered to pray for the offering said this when the microphone was handed to her, "I want to pray but do not know know how to pray,  you pray and I will follow ! " What an encouragement and challenge .....many children want to pray but may not know how...if  only we adults will spend time with them, teaching and showing  them ...our little ones will follow us.....

Even the toddlers had their own workshop with Deaconess Ruth  (The Anglican Diocese of Malaysia) while the other older ones were taught by Pastor Samuel Phun (Spore), Pastor Andy Loh (KL), Pastor Joy Yeo (Malacca) &  Pastor Vinvin Tan (Klang)  It was amazing to see the children who still have the energy to worship, learn and play games after  a long day .   The conference ended  with  praying and anointing every child at the Power Concert where parents and visitors were invited to attend .

Praise God and all glory be to Him for the success of this conference for these little ones belong to Jesus!

National Children Prayer Conference 08

The National Children Prayer Conference is about children from all over Malaysia, coming together to experience God through worship, word and prayer. We want to see children hungry for the presence of God , transformed by His Word of Truth and challenged to live and share the gospel of Jesus  Christ.

The theme :  "Power Up!". Spread the Good News Romans 10:13-15. Every heart with Jesus  is a missionary and every heart without Jesus is a mission field. God uses children to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to people and places where many have difficult access to. Children are a powerful influence to those they come in contact with. This conference focuses on inspiring, equipping & empowering children to share the gospel, not to be ashamed of it, and to know that it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.
