Session 2
(7:30pm)
|
Moderator: Chong Lei Wah
|
Key Points
Rev. Isaac Chan
-
In Israel’s history, the Word from the Lord was rare (1 Samuel 3). The Lord spoke and called Samuel who was about 12 years old then. Likewise God is still looking for children who will recognize His voice.
-
Pastors and adults should rise up a generation who will be sensitive to God.
-
God will talk to those who are listening.
Chong Lei Wah
Word of Exhortation
Ps. Andy Loh
Legacy
-
Word of God – Daniel 1:3-8, Daniel 3:16-18, Daniel 6:10
-
Must stand for God no matter what.
-
Legacy is not what I want people to remember me by when I am gone, but it’s what they will remember about God through my life. It’s not about you, it’s about Jesus.
-
Word of God - Psalm 145:5, Exodus 3:15
-
Why do we need to leave a legacy? – Matthew 24:4-14
-
Teach it to our children – Deuteronomy 11:9
-
What kills a legacy?
(i) Generational gap – Judges 2:10
(ii) Judgmental attitude – 1 Timothy 4:12
(iii) Distrust
Prayer
-
Rev Ann and Maria prayed for more children to be filled with the Holy Spirit and for all to share visions, talk to one another and for God to touch each one of us.
-
Ps. Geoffrey gave thanks. He prayed that the lives here would be used for Children Ministries to be taken to a new level far exceeding than what has been imagined.
